       Velvet is the spitting image of Desperado V. She is black now but is turning grey slowly. Her dam turned grey at the age of eight. She has four generations of black in her pedigree and should be considered by breeders breeding for black. She is extremely friendly (a real pocket pony), tractable and broke to ride both hunt seat and western. She has had over a year of professional training and has a mouth like butter. She took a blue ribbon her first time out. She has a high set neck and is well over 15 hands.  She is absolutely gorgeous under saddle. Her tiny nose stands out from across the ring and gives her a look the judges can't miss. She is perfect either as a show horse or a brood mare. Video available.

Pele Bey is an outstanding broodmare. She is double Bask and was Reserve Champion Sweepstakes filly in Region V. All three of her babies, by three different stallions have been Region III Sweepstakes Top Ten or better. Midnight Magnum was Top Ten at Scottsdale as well as Top Five at Region III. Her current yearling foal by Versace is expected to do the same. Celestial Bey, above, is one of her foals. Tropical Breez is the perfect broodmare or youth show horse. She has a pedigree to die for (double Bey Shah, double Bask, Nariadni, Fame and Tenacas Torrifa by Tornado.) Although she is snorty she is not spooky and just looks at strange objects and is a pleasure to ride on the trail. She is 14-2. She had her first colt last year and he is strikingly beautiful.
